WFOP in Partnership with the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park
Zoos have been inspiring visitors (especially kids) for centuries with the majestic presence of animals and the opportunity to learn more about them and their habitats. Show us your inspiration!
The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park and Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets invites kids aged 5 to 7 and 8 to 10 to write an animal poem about any animal in the zoo. The winning poem in each age category will receive $25 and a specially designed picture poem for display.
HOW TO ENTER:
· Email poem to wfopweb@gmail.com or drop off in the gift shop at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park by Sunday, September 29, 2019.
· Include name, address, phone number, age and email of young poet.
· Winner will be announced Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
