Your Book

As we rest in bed
I want to hear
all the stories
you have not yet told me.
My mind
is an open blank book
needing to be filled.
Your tongue
will write the pages
one by one
but I know
with great, great sorrow
if you choose
your stories
your book
will always and only
be yours.
