    POEMS:

The Caretaker

Alone, it seems, with all the cares.
She holds the hand of him
Who means the world and all to her
As he tires, bit by bit.

She holds the hand of him
It is difficult not to help TOO much
As he tires, bit by bit.
And they try to turn back time.

It is difficult not to help TOO much
Helplessness is too often tied to futility
And they try to turn back time
To youth and health, to the beginning.

Helplessness is too often tied to futility
He means the world and all to her
To youth and health, to the beginning
Alone, it seems, with all the cares.

Love Song

Your voice awakened me.
It calmed my fears.

I dreamt of hope and you.
The dream is clear.
Autumn leaves flutter
Like a necklace
Fallen string-like on a midnight street.
