Mrs. Bush shared with me your letter and asked that I respond. She appreciates your opinion and thanks you for taking the time to write and share your thoughts. You obviously care a great deal about American literature.
 
While the event was postponed, we look forward to working with many more authors and historians to highlight those men and women who have meant so much to our literary heritage and sharing these important literary works with America's next generation.
