Wisconsin state seal

Wisconsin's State Seal

Wisconsin became the 30th state on May 29th, 1848. It is shaped like a mitten; the finger end tends to be soggier than the wrist end. It is also known as America's Dairyland, even though milk production has fallen way behind that of Minnesota. The state motto is "Forward", although the exact direction is unspecified.
